The Persia Room is an extremely elegant room located in the Casa Navidad part of the compound. It has a king sized, pillow-top bed imported from America. The bed is very, very comfortable. The bedroom opens to an interior courtyard with a fountain surrounded by a slow growing and rare species of palm. There are a lot of flowers. The Persia Room has a newly remodeled bathroom with Yucatecan marble and stone used throughout. There is a bidet. The shower is great and the water pressure good. The bedroom has a number of interesting works of art. There is a very large tapestry from Persia that somehow involves a lady with a pet deer. The floor is a very bold composition of handmade pasta tiles. There is a comfortable reading corner in the room. Rental of the room permits access to the pool of the big house. Breakfast is served with the other guests, either in Casa Santiago or at Casa Feliz as the daily number of guests may require. It is a very beautiful, peaceful and comfortable place to spend your nights here in Merida.
