We do not charge extra for the holidays or the high season (November through April) but as might be expected, demand is high. Early reservations are therefore suggested.
There is a $10 additional charge for one-night stays because of the burdens that such a brief stay entails.
We do not charge extra for breakfast for the second person in a bedroom as is so commonly seen elsewhere. Our prices include all relevant taxes.
The entire Casa Santiago house with its four bedrooms and as many baths may be rented for $1200 per week, if breakfast and daily housekeeping are not included. This may be an economically sensible choice since the grocery store, bakeries and laundry are nearby and the kitchen is fully equipped. The privacy, in our view, is worth it. When you make your reservation, you will need to pay a deposit equal to at least 50% of your bill. The deposit requirement for stays during the high season is 100%. You can pay by PayPal which is easy and safe and we will tell you how to do it. Your balance is due when you arrive or, if you are staying with us for more than a week, then at the beginning of each week of your visit. If you cancel your reservation sooner than 30 days before the first day of your booking, you will be refunded 80% of your deposit. If you pay your final or weekly balance by credit card rather than in pesos, there is a 8% surcharge on these final or weekly payments because of credit card and Paypal charges that we incur. However, this is an expense easily avoided since the ATM is right around the corner and it pays out in pesos. There is no surcharge when you use a credit card on Paypal to make your deposit to hold your reservation.
